DREAM Collaborative LLC

DREAM Collaborative LLC DREAM Collaborative is a minority-owned, full-service architecture and real estate development firm We can help you decide which options are right for you.

WHAT WE DO:
Our clients include homeowners, developers, universities, CDCs (community development corporations), private companies, public entities, and non-profits. The projects we work on represent a client’s dream of creating a better place to live, work, or invest. Bringing those dreams to life in the form of healthy, well-functioning buildings and vastly improved neighborhoods is what we do.

We do that through a collaborative approach that harnesses the wisdom of the community and expertise of other professionals. Whether you are renovating or constructing a new home for your family or business, developing an investment property, doing some early stage fact-finding, or some combination of these, we can help. ARCHITECTURE
We take your brilliant idea and translate it into an attractive and superbly functioning building. We are a small group of experienced architects which means we are nimble, accessible, and personally involved in all of our projects. We take pride in truly listening to our clients and responding with exceptional designs that are beautiful, contextual, and practical. GREEN BUILDING DESIGN / LEED CONSULTING
We design healthy, flexible buildings that meet your short and long term goals and minimize operational costs. Building projects offer many opportunities for sustainability and high efficiency from design to materials to systems. We can advise you on practical ways to make your space more durable and energy efficient to save money on future operational costs. Some options are as simple as window placement for optimal daylight and others are highly complex like geothermal heating and cooling systems. If you are interested in the LEED certification program, we can manage that process for you. We are also skilled at designing for flexibility to accommodate future changes in use which will save money and time on renovations, extend a building’s longevity, and increase your return on investment. URBAN DEVELOPMENT CONSULTING
We add value to your urban development opportunities. We have advanced training in infrastructure planning and a proven track record of successfully navigating the challenges and nuances of redevelopment opportunities within densely populated, historically significant, and culturally diverse city neighborhoods. We know how to engage community members and work with local officials to get projects moving and keep them on track while respecting the needs of multiple stakeholders. We are available to join your team at any point in the process but encourage you to call us early so we can contribute to your best outcome.

Today, members of the DREAM team had the opportunity to attend Ansanm Ansanm, Together Together by Jean Appolon Expressions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston as part of Juneteenth celebrations.

This powerful performance brought together music, dance, and storytelling to honor reflection, resilience, liberation, and the richness of Haitian culture. Through the transformative power of Haitian folk dance, the experience highlighted themes of community, shared humanity, and collective freedom.

As we commemorate Juneteenth, we are reminded that progress is rooted in understanding our history, celebrating cultural expression, and building stronger connections with one another. We are grateful to have shared in this joyful expression of unity and resilience.

“An n Ale! Let’s go!” The rhythm of live drumming filled the air as we celebrated a milestone: the ribbon cutting for the brand-new Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE) Dance Center in Nubian Square. DREAM Principals and Co-Founders Greg Minott and Troy Depeiza were honored to stand alongside the community at the base of our 2147 Washington Street project to welcome JAE to its new home.

Designed by DREAM, this 2,800-square-foot studio is a center for Haitian Folkloric dance, healing, and professional excellence. JAE is dedicated to building strong, diverse communities, and we are so proud to provide the architectural canvas for their movement.

In the Words of City Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune: “This is a long-awaited home for creativity, culture, and community.” Bringing high-quality arts programming to the heart of Nubian Square is what sustainable, community-focused development is all about.

Congratulations to Jean Appolon and the entire JAE team!

With the Roxbury community at the heart of our design for P3, DREAM alongside HYM and My City at Peace designed a project that will create a new inclusive mixed-use development to include affordable and market rate housing, a life science campus, museum space for King Boston, retail and a variety of public open green space.

Our approach is through three lenses—envisioning that the future of P3 will: Honor the Heritage, Restitch and Regenerate, and Catalyze Local Wealth. Through programming, accessibility, mobility, a diverse public realm, and inclusive streetscapes, our plan aims to incorporate the Roxbury neighborhood into a place for longevity, comfort and growth as well as to connect the site to its history in the development of greater Boston.
