Thank you to all of our Field Crews, Superintendents, and Tradespeople who have continued to make great progress on our sites despite negative temperatures, blizzards, and a lot of shoveling… Bring on Spring and the warmer weather!

Christmas delivery! Congratulations to our project team for a successful final inspection and closeout process. The Wesleyan is ready for tenant buildouts and occupancy.

This 40,000 sq foot building features seven floors of office above two retail spaces directly across from the newly completed Copley Square park. The building was completely gut renovated with major upgrades to the structure, elevators, MEPs systems, etc. Certain historic details and finishes were preserved thru all of the construction and blended with all of the new finishes that were specifically sourced and imported directly from Italy for this project.

We are excited to work with our partners to carry the momentum on this building forward into 2026!

JLD has commenced the construction and conversion of this Newbury Street brownstone which will become the newest brick and mortar stores for a popular outdoor brand.

This building is located on the south side of Newbury Street which is known as the Stable Block because the buildings were originally built in the 1870s as both horse stables and homes for the Coachmen and Stablemen.

JLD’s project team and our partners will be working hard in the weeks ahead to adapt another historic building to meet the needs of today’s retail tenants.

The Spec Suite at the Wesleyan on Copley

Overlooking the newly improved Copley Square Park, this boutique office space offers a sophisticated and elegant look combined with a functional layout and all new mechanical systems. Each one of the finishes was specifically sourced and imported from Italy for this build out.

JLD’s project team is rapidly approaching the finish line of the full building renovation that was undertaken in parallel (and around) this build out to allow marketing and leasing opportunities prior to the delivery of the full building. More to come soon 👀

We are proud to have partnered with the George Robert White Fund and The City of Boston to complete the exterior restoration work at the James Michael Curley House.

The Curley House is a registered Boston landmark and our project team worked with Wessling Architects to restore and preserve the original character of the house by removing and replacing the contemporary materials/details that were not original to the house.
