On Monday, People's Theatre Project hosted their annual gala, themed "In the Home Stretch" to celebrate the upcoming opening of Centro Cultural Inmigrante. We’re proud to be part of the team bringing El Centro to life—a transformational community anchor designed to celebrate culture, foster connection, and create opportunity. The evening also recognized Executive Vice President Dave Margolius for his leadership and commitment to building spaces where inclusion, care, and community come first.

Today, we’re excited to welcome 55 interns to our teams across the country.

Representing 34 colleges across 15 states, these students will gain hands-on experience this summer across project management, site supervision, estimating, safety, and internal operations.

Investing in the next generation is an important part of our culture of continuous learning. By developing early-career talent, we’re helping build a strong pipeline of future leaders for both Shawmut and the construction industry.

We look forward to supporting these interns as they grow their skills, build new relationships, and experience Shawmut’s people-first culture over the next three months.

We're proud to share that Brown University's Lindemann Performing Arts Center has received a 2026 iF Gold Design Award—one of the most prestigious honors in global design. Selected from more than 10,000 submissions across 68 countries, The Lindemann was one of just 75 projects worldwide to earn a Gold Trophy.

Designed by REX to push the boundaries of performance, the 101,000-square-foot facility features a revolutionary Main Performance Hall that can transform into five distinct stage-audience configurations through an intricate system of suspended seating gantries, motorized lifts, telescoping risers, and acoustic panels. The result is one of the world's most flexible and technologically advanced performance venues, supporting everything from orchestral concerts to experimental media productions.

The iF jury recognized the project for its "extraordinary acoustic complexity within a deceptively simple form," celebrating a venue that performs as brilliantly as the artists it was designed to serve.

In Massachusetts, the Town of Wellesley’s new Hardy Elementary School has officially achieved LEED Gold certification. Designed as a next-generation, net-zero-ready learning environment, the 365-student K–5 school delivers meaningful environmental impact while creating inspiring spaces for students and educators alike.

The $72.5 million project features collaborative learning neighborhoods, a STEAM lab, two-story library, media center, outdoor classrooms, and specialized spaces that support diverse learning styles and sensory needs.

Key sustainability outcomes include:
• 42.7% carbon reduction
• 30%+ reduction in water use
• 89% of construction waste diverted from landfills

As a proud partner of UCLA, congratulations to the Bruins for winning the Big Ten Conference Tournament. The #1 ranked baseball team will host the first regional game of the College World Series at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where we performed infrastructure upgrades to support UCLA Athletics' Big Ten broadcasting capabilities—helping ensure Bruins home games are fully equipped for production and distribution on the B1G+ digital platform.
