A major milestone in the North Country School campus master plan was recently achieved with the successful relocation of the 45-ton Woods House. Following months of planning and site preparation, the historic building was lifted from its foundation and transported 200 feet to its new location at Clark Field. Throughout the process, the active construction site functioned as a real-world learning environment, providing students with the unique opportunity to observe this significant engineering feat firsthand. Now that it’s moved to its new location, the construction of the new Living Commons and Faculty Residences connected to the existing house will begin.
