Great neighbors make the whole block better.

For National Good Neighbor Day, say hello, return the stray ball, share the garden extras or give a neighbor a well-deserved shoutout. A little connection goes a long way - on either side of the fence.

What makes someone a great neighbor?

The backyard boss has notes.

More room to roam. Fewer surprise exits. A gate that closes securely. And, ideally, a sunny spot for quality control.

During National Dog Week, we are celebrating the four-legged family members who make the backyard their own. The right fence design depends on your pet, property and local requirements - and your local Superior Fence & Rail team can help you think through the details.

What is at the top of your dog's backyard wish list?

FALLELUJAH!! A fence on your fall list? Start with a plan.

Think about how you want to use the yard, confirm property and HOA requirements, compare materials and maintenance, and talk through timing with a local expert. Depending on local weather and ground conditions, fall may be a great time to move a fence project forward.
