I gave these semi new but improperly stained and protected doors a good sanding, a change of stain color and 3 coats of helmsman exterior polyurethane. I even polished the brass door handle! They like all of my work are Guaranteed to last! I stand behind my work and the products I use, like anyone who takes pride in their work should! While replacing the 1x6 facia board that had some water damage and rotting with the new seen here, some major issues were found around the chimney. The sealant around the metal flashing had cracked and opened allowing rain to to ruin the plywood decking beneath the shingles. Having your chimney and all other roof penetrations re-sealed can save you hundreds if not thousands in repairs.

This Tiny house needed a lot of love to reach its potential in form and functionnn. First we framed a new roof entirely adding additional length one end and covering with galvalume. Next it was wrapped in facia boards and fit with new gutters and downspouts. Then for storage a 6.5’ wide 7’ tall 1’ deep cabinet with barn door style double doors was added under the extended roof. On the hitch tongue a propane tank base was built with safety chains on the wall above.
Finally at chair rail height, galvalume was added and topped with CUSTOM TRIM cut from 2x4’s and a design routed into it on site, then vertical trim over the panel seams were added and it was all stained and sprayed with clear lacquer. So I first too a pic of the news paper crammed in between the boxes as sort of a wth type deal, then I unceremoniously un-crumpled a wad only to find it was the Commercial Appeal from Memphis dated 5 days after I was brought into this world. Pretty cool I thought!
