Remove glass from fixture. Remove fan blades from fixture. Remove metal brackets from fan blades. Sand everything lightly to prep surface. Mask well to protect surface surrounding the fixture. Use proper paint...I used Krylon Pro(follow directions on can), for the metal, and wall paint for the fan blades. I purchased new glass for about $7 a piece, which kept my cost well under $50!
