Just plugging away! 💪 As we work our way around obstructions, you’ll notice us switching from the cleat gun to screws. The cleat gun requires a certain amount of clearance to operate, so sometimes we have to adapt our approach to get the job done right.

You’ll also see us setting the nails by hand with punches. With the density of this hickory, it takes a little extra effort and attention to detail, but man, is it worth it.

It’s been a while since we last posted, but we’ve been keeping busy! These days, roughly 70% of our work comes from repeat customers, with the other 30% coming from word-of-mouth referrals. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued trust and support!

Here in Ames, you can see the owner installing some beautiful unfinished hickory hardwood flooring, soon paired with stair treads and crisp white risers. New colonial style white baseboards and case trim will be coming in to complete the look!
