Employee Spotlight: Meet Tristan!

Meet Tristan, a valued member of the Bigfoot Builders team and a true Ashe County local. Born and raised in the Lansing area, Tristan knows these mountains well and brings that local connection and hardworking attitude to everything he does.

Tristan works hard, and when he's not working, there's a good chance you'll find him enjoying the outdoors, especially hunting. He also loves spending time with his wife, Ceanna.

Fun Fact: Tristan and Ceanna are high school sweethearts! ❤️ After growing up together here in Ashe County, they recently tied the knot and started the next chapter of their story together.

From the jobsite to the great outdoors, Tristan is right at home in the mountains.

It takes a team to conquer the wild. 👣🏔️

Some of our team got to spend some time camping with their families this summer. Nothing beats a little time around the campfire, enjoying the outdoors and making memories! 🌲🔥

And of course, we always keep an eye out for Bigfoot. 👣 Did anyone else spot him this summer?

Employee Spotlight: Meet Zac!

Meet Zac, one of our Superintendents and one of the craftsmen behind our legendary homes. Zac helps keep projects moving in the field, tackling the many different jobs that come with building a custom home and making sure the work is done to our standards.

When he’s not on the jobsite, Zac spends his time with his family, including his wife and fellow Bigfoot team member, Moriah, and their two kids.

And when he’s not working or spending time with his family, there’s a good chance you’ll find him on two wheels. Zac is an avid cyclist and mountain biker who loves getting out on the trails and even competing in races.

It takes a team to conquer the wild. 👣🏔️
