A little late on this post, but August 14th officially marked ONE FULL YEAR of Donaldson Contracting LLC!
It’s honestly crazy looking back at where we started and everything that has happened in just one year. We’ve had good days, bad days, long days, stressful days, and plenty of days where I wondered what the hell I got myself into. But through all of it, we kept showing up, kept learning, and kept moving forward.
In our first year, we’ve had the opportunity to work on everything from small repairs and remodels to full exterior projects, roofing, siding, decks, additions, storm damage, and some pretty awesome projects I never imagined we’d be doing this early.
More importantly, we’ve built relationships with some incredible customers, other contractors, suppliers, and people in our community. Every person who has hired us, recommended us, shared one of our posts, handed out our name, or simply supported what we’re trying to build has played a part in getting us here.
I started this company wanting to build something with my own name behind it and do things the right way. We’re nowhere near where I want us to be yet, but looking back at how far we’ve come in only 12 months makes me pretty damn excited about what the next few years are going to look like.
Thank you to my family for putting up with the long hours and stress, my guys for showing up and putting in the work, and every customer who trusted Donaldson Contracting with their home or project.
Year one is officially in the books.
Here’s to bigger projects, bigger opportunities, continued growth, and another year of putting our reputation before the money.
