I love every 5-star review we receive at Quality Door, but some just mean a little more than others. This one hit close to
home.

I miss my dad, Michael, every single day. He started Quality Door 30 years ago with a commitment to honest work, treating people right, and taking pride in every job.

Getting to carry on what he built and honor his legacy through this company every day brings me more joy than I can put into words.

Dad poured so much of his life into Quality Door, and I hope that same dedication shows in everything we do today.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the amazing crew we have working with us today. Their hard work, care, and commitment to doing things the right way make all of this possible. They bring our values to life every day and help us continue building on the foundation my dad created.

HAVE TO BE RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR GARAGE BEFORE THE REMOTE WORKS?

Your opener may not have a bad remote at all — you could be dealing with radio interference!

One of the most common culprits? 💡 LED LIGHT BULBS. Some LED bulbs can create radio-frequency interference that dramatically reduces the range of your garage door remotes.

Other possible causes include:
📡 A damaged or tucked-up opener antenna
🔋 A weak remote battery
💡 Non-compatible LED bulbs
⚡ Other electronics creating interference

If your remote used to work from down the driveway and now you practically have to be inside the garage, something isn’t right.

🚨 BROKEN GARAGE DOOR SPRING? DON’T PULL THE EMERGENCY RELEASE!

If you have a broken spring, your garage door can be extremely heavy. The opener may be the only thing keeping that door from coming down.

⚠️ Pulling the emergency release cord disconnects the opener from the door. If the door is open or partially open, it could drop unexpectedly.

If you suspect a broken spring:

❌ Don’t keep running the opener
❌ Don’t pull the emergency cord
❌ Don’t try to force the door open

👀 GARAGE DOOR WON’T CLOSE? CHECK YOUR SAFETY EYES!

If your garage door starts to go down, then stops and goes right back up, your safety eyes may simply be out of alignment.

These little sensors near the bottom of your door have to “see” each other. If one gets bumped or moved, your opener thinks something is in the doorway and sends the door back up.

Before calling for service, check for:
🔧 A sensor that’s been bumped out of position
🧹 Dirt or cobwebs blocking the lens
📦 Something blocking the beam
