We wrapped up two productive days with the project team during the prototype review for Fairview Terrace, the pilot project in our six-project modular housing pipeline.

Bringing together the developer, architect, general contractor, financing partners, consultants, and key trade partners in front of the full-scale unit creates a powerful opportunity to align expectations, solve challenges early, and identify improvements that we’ll carry forward into future builds.

A special thank you to everyone involved for the time, collaboration, and commitment to making this a streamlined delivery process. The impact goes far beyond one project—these lessons will help streamline delivery and shape hundreds of affordable homes still to come.

Modular construction continues to prove its value when the right team comes together early.

EAH Housing now has two modular projects under its belt, including Distel Circle which, while still under construction, is projected to be completed roughly four months ahead of schedule and remains within budget parameters.

Visiting Durango, Colorado, we took the opportunity to see the Gauge Apartments, which were constructed in our Boise factory in 2022 and occupied in 2023. It’s always rewarding to see these communities thriving years after completion.

We wrapped up the week with a Memorial Day BBQ lunch and an early out today to help everyone get a head start on the long weekend. 🍔🌭🇺🇸

We had some productive job walks this week with a customer looking to get a firsthand look at the modular set process in the field and better understand some of the common challenges that can arise during and after installation.

Opportunities like this don’t always line up with active set schedules, but when they do, it’s a great indicator we’re working with a committed project team putting in the effort early to better understand the process. That collaboration and willingness to learn is often what helps teams make the most of a modular project, unlocking more of the schedule, quality, and efficiency benefits modular construction has to offer.

And a special thanks to the GC teams who allowed us onto their job sites for this occasion!

Townhomes we built were recently featured in The Oregonian. It’s always exciting to see modular construction continue moving into the mainstream. We often talk about the speed and quality modular can bring to a project, and those benefits were certainly part of this build, but the beautiful and thoughtful design really shines through as well. We kicked off May attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Buckskin Charley project in Ignacio, Colorado. With 27% of Southern Ute Tribal members living outside of the reservation, the Tribal Council took a proactive approach to expand affordable housing opportunities within the community.

Just 13 months ago, these modules were under construction in our Boise factory. FCI Constructors has done a phenomenal job bringing the project to the finish line. Walking through finished units and preparing for families to move in is a great reminder of what strong partnerships and modular construction can accomplish together.
