Had a helper on the McCall remodel this weekend 💪
This 12-year-old absolutely busted his ass on demolition and prep work for this staircase. No complaining, no shortcuts—just hard work, focus, and a willingness to learn. Watching him jump in, get dirty, and take pride in what he was doing was pretty dang cool.

There’s something special about passing down work ethic, showing kids what it means to contribute, and letting them see the results of their effort firsthand. This staircase didn’t just get prepped—it got prepped with grit. Proud doesn’t even cover it. 👏

Building your dream home or ADU is important, but showing up for football games…no matter if they’ve lost every game this year (lol) is pretty high on the priority list. Steve said “I’ll be able to wake up every day for the rest of my life and show up to build…but here soon, there won’t be painful football games, endless days of baseball or loud gyms with basketball”. They grow up too fast.
