Happy All!

We wanted to take a moment to highlight one of our own, Allison Price and her incredible work for City of Boise’s Community Design Lab for Neighborhood Housing.

Her submission centers on people first design. By lifting the ground plane and creating a shared courtyard, it transforms everyday space into a place for connection, safety, and community. Paired with a thoughtful mix of public and private spaces, including neighborhood amenities, it becomes a strong example of how architecture shapes how we live and connect.

Alli, congratulations on this amazing exploration. It’s a great reminder of the positive impact architects can have on the built environment and the lives around it!

AI is expanding what is possible in architecture, but it does not replace the creative eye. Its sharpens it.

We use these tools early in the process to test ideas, study light, materials, scale and refine design decisions before construction begins.

The design still starts with people, place, and intent.

That clarity leads to better outcomes, smoother builds, and fewer surprises. Its peace of mind up front and efficiency where it matters most.
