Tree Care Groundsman – Arborman Tree Care

Location: Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Eagle)

The Role:
We're looking for a hardworking, reliable Groundsman to join the Arborman Tree Care crew. If you enjoy working outside, being part of a solid team, and putting in a good honest day's work, this is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
*Dragging brush and feeding the wood chipper.
*Running chainsaws for bucking and limbing on the ground.
*Assisting climbers with rigging and gear management.
*Setting up job site safety zones and directing traffic if needed.
*Keeping the site clean and loading up the dump trailer at the end of the day.
*Helping maintain trucks, skid steers, and everyday gear.

What You Need:
*A strong work ethic and the physical stamina to handle heavy lifting in all kinds of weather.
*A valid driver’s license and a reliable way to get to work.
*Prior tree care, landscaping, or forestry experience is a big plus, but we’re absolutely willing to train the right person.
*A serious commitment to safety on the job site.

What We Offer:

Experienced Tree Climber / Trimmer – Arborman Tree Care

About Us:
Arborman Tree Care is a premier professional tree cultivation, removal, and property maintenance company serving the Treasure Valley. We take the safety of our crew and the quality of our work seriously. We run a highly professional operation, equipped with heavy-duty, top-of-the-line machinery so you can do your job safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Climbing, pruning, and safely dismantling large shade and ornamental trees.

* Performing complex rigging and hazard tree removals.

* Working aloft using ropes and harnesses, or utilizing our aerial boom lifts when appropriate.

* Operating heavy machinery on job sites, including yellow CAT 259D3 rubber-tracked skid steers and CAT 303 excavators.

* Driving and maintaining fleet vehicles, such as our F750 forestry-package bucket trucks and F550 utility trucks.

* Running chainsaws and feeding our large Bandit 18xp drum wood chipper.

We don't cut corners on safety or branding.
Company Apparel: High-visibility neon green Arborman shirts to keep you visible and looking professional on the site.
Top-Tier Equipment: You'll be working with well-maintained, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and CAT machinery.

What We’re Looking For:

* 1+ years of professional tree climbing and rigging experience.

* Deep knowledge of proper pruning techniques, tree biology, and safety protocols (ISA certification is a massive plus).

* Ability to comfortably and safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and heavy equipment.

* A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).

* A strong work ethic, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work well with a ground crew.
