Hello, my Treeple!

I'll be presenting the Tree Pruning Class again for the City of Boise on Feb 11th. This class is a broad presentation that addresses mostly ornamentals and shade trees, and is different from the fruit tree class.

A new addition this year will be "How to Hire an Arborist" on March 4th. This class will delve into proper tree care terminology as well as a bit about the ANSI standards and how they can be used as an offense or a defense for both the public and the tree care company. If any of you have seen James Komen's presentation "The Sword and the Shield," this will be similar to that.

There is a whole horticulture series available through the City's website. There is a $5 registration fee for each class (a new thing this year), but i feel like every class presented will be well worth it!

Hello, all my Treeple! Casey Clapp will be back in Boise to present his "Tree Identification- Common Conifers of the PNW"! Those who have never seen his classes are sure to find him entertaining and engaging! We were fortunate enough to have him as the keynote speaker at this year's Hort Expo, and his presentations were great!
