Kicking off our Summer Intern Series! Meet Egan Walsh, a Mechanical Engineering student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Originally from LaGrange Park, Illinois, Egan is spending his summer on our Decatur County project, gaining hands-on experience in the field. When he's not on the job, you can find him playing guitar, watching movies, or playing sports with friends.
Egan chose Beaty because he wanted leadership experience in engineering and the opportunity to work in the field instead of behind a desk. This summer, he hopes to gain a better understanding of what it means to lead in engineering, see firsthand how engineering impacts communities, and learn more about the type of environment where he does his best work.
