Spring is in the air, and so are ticks! 🌼🕷️ As you enjoy the warmer weather, be aware that ticks are becoming more active. These tiny pests can pose significant health risks since they carry diseases like Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Here are some tips to help you stay tick-free this spring:

-Dress Smartly: Wear light-colored clothing to easily spot ticks. Long sleeves and pants tucked into socks can also help prevent ticks from getting on your skin.
-Use Repellents: Apply insect repellent that contains DEET, picaridin, or IR3535 to exposed skin and clothing.
-Manage Your Yard: Keep your lawn mowed and bushes trimmed. Remove leaf litter and clear tall grasses and brush around homes and at the edge of lawns.
