💧 Project Completion – Effluent Pump Station Upgrades

Globaltech completed effluent pump station improvements for a municipal wastewater utility, a project focused on enhancing system performance and supporting long-term operational reliability.

Serving as the General Contractor, our team furnished and installed a new 250-horsepower vertical turbine pump, a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), electrical infrastructure upgrades, and modifications to the existing 12-inch ductile iron piping system. The project also included replacement of electrical equipment and system improvements designed to support reliable operation and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

A key component of the project was replacing the previous 100-horsepower pump with a larger 250-horsepower unit, significantly increasing pumping capacity while providing greater operational flexibility and efficiency. From permitting and coordination through construction and closeout, the project was made possible through strong collaboration among the project team and stakeholders.

Projects like this help strengthen critical utility infrastructure and support the reliable services that communities depend on every day.

Progress continues on the Water Treatment Plant 11 Membrane Train Improvements project in Belle Glade, which includes the design and construction of a new brackish water reverse osmosis (RO) membrane train. The team developed design specifications and membrane projections for a system capable of treating higher TDS raw water quality. The new design includes a membrane feed pump, interstage boost pump, and isobaric pressure exchangers to improve energy efficiency.

Our team recently visited Aerex Industries, Inc. manufacturing facility in Fort Pierce to review fabrication progress and stay up to date on project scheduling and quality throughout the process. The skid frame and vessels have been fabricated and delivered to the project site, with the majority of the train piping also completed.

Globaltech has worked closely with the Aerex team to help bring the 3D model to life in the field through a combination of on-site measurements, 3D modeling, and construction sequencing coordination. We appreciate the continued collaboration and look forward to seeing this critical project continue to take shape.

A great time at the Kiwanis Golf Tournament in Fort Pierce supporting a great cause and spending the day with the community. The team enjoyed getting out on the course, connecting with everyone involved, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Safe to say we had a few solid shots mixed in there too. ⛳️

Project Completion – Raw Water Well No. 3 Electrical & Control System Upgrades ⚡

The project included new power distribution, control panel replacement, conduit extensions, and SCADA integration updates to support improved system operation and communication. A new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) were also installed to provide greater operational flexibility, smoother pump operation, and improved energy efficiency.

As a certified UL 508A panel shop, Globaltech is proud to deliver control panel solutions that meet recognized industry standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Behind every person on our jobsites is a family, a future, and people counting on them to make it home safely at the end of the day. That’s why safety is one of our core values at Globaltech and something we continue to prioritize in every part of our work.

From CPR training for both office and field staff to OSHA 10 and 30 certifications, heavy equipment training, and daily safety talks, we believe investing in our people is one of the most important things we can do. Safety is also part of every conversation we have with our clients and crews because creating a safe jobsite takes all of us.

Construction Safety Week is a reminder of what matters most: looking out for one another and making sure everyone gets home safely to the people who matter most.

That’s a wrap on Florida Water Resources Conference!

A packed schedule filled with great conversations, new perspectives, and time spent with people who are all working toward something bigger. There is a lot happening in this space, and it was great to be part of it.
