Relax, let a Hoover handle it!

This customer had something damage the rake edge metal and the molding on this cedar shake roof. The customer wanted to make sure there was no further rot past the molding. So I took out a 4ftx4ft section and a small 5ftx1ft further up to replace the rake edge metal. Not every cedar roof has a breather mat underneath but this one did.

Relax, let a Hoover handle it!

We needed some copper drip edge for a small copper water return over a garage. In years past, we would buy our copper drip edge from our supplier, we've made it if we're in a pinch, but convenience can make things go faster. Now, our supplier no longer carries copper drip edge. We had some standing seam copper panels from a job we did a few years ago. The first picture shows one of these panels cut, the video shows us cutting the other standing seam shown in the previous picture. Once we got it down to flat stock and the size we needed, we bent our drip edge. We used the other half to make the return panels and counter flashing.

My dad has 49 years of experience in this business, and I have 18, full-time, plus the time I spent during the summer since i was a kid. He has taught me so much in that time. This is just one of the many things. Needless to say we aren't too worried when our supplier stops carrying things we can make ourselves.

Relax, let a Hoover handle it!

This was a closet renovation we did. Everything is stained with a Minwax Sagamore water base with a satin finish. The sheving is red oak Woodstock, VA. The liner is done with cedar from Front Royal, Va and some cedar plywood from Home Depot to fill out the larger areas. The bifold doors are fir. The other 6 doors are maple. Another satisfied customer.
