English Shepherds & Goats of Vine Hill Farm I am a retired career nurse and farm girl who is now terminally ill and 'retired' :( I heat with wood from my downed trees. My animals free-range.

Vine Hill Farm is all about loving Nature, God's country and the appreciation of His gifts: Beauty of the hills, forest, sky and hence, conservation of this land. Self-sustainability plays into VHF: Fresh, clean spring water is what I and my animals drink. I drink the milk, raw, from my purebred Nubian Dairy Goats. My farm/land and myself, are managed LOL and protected by purebred English Shepherds. I "try" to keep my livestock, all my animals actually, living as close to 'naturally' as I can. I feed raw meat (as much as I can) to my dogs. Although I try to live and maintain my place as 'naturally' as possible, I will 'admit' LOL to being a product of society, hence, I DO shop at Wal Mart and other stores for supplies. I am NOT a 'total' hermit ha ha....Vine Hill is about 'survival' as much to the extent as possible within my means and limitations ;^) God Bless you!
