A few easy things to do for your HVAC system as we head into fall:

• Swap out your air filter, a fresh one helps your system breathe easier as you transition from cooling to heating
• Clear leaves and debris away from your outdoor unit so it's not blocked as things start dropping this season
• Test your thermostat and heat before you actually need it, better to catch an issue now than on the first cold night
• Check your vents and registers are open and unblocked throughout the house for even airflow
• Look (and listen) for anything unusual, odd smells, strange noises, or weak airflow are all worth a call before they turn into bigger problems
