Another day…. Another tank….
AB was contracted to perform the excavation, setting of shoring, compact bottom, set anchors, set filter fabric, set rock and backfill for the new emergency secondary tank at Radys Children’s Hospital. And after our 100th meeting going over soil reports, shoring sets, tank specs, rock submittals and logistic plans for delivery’s, equipment drops and cranes with traffic control…. We were finally given our 2 weeks to make it all happen. Our great team worked 12+ hours a day through Saturday and Sunday into next work week to meet our scheduling milestones to make it happen. Always a pleasure working with our happy clients and great AB team for making it all happen safely.

Very humbled to be recognized by the California state senate for the children’s career day at Kimbark Elementary school. The kids loved learning about the heavy equipment and the trades. Big thanks to our team that helped make make it happen and especially Krystin Snyder and Kevin Trapane. Honored to be recognized.

AB was awarded the Red Cross Disaster Award and what a humbling experience. When we responded to San Bernardino County’s emergency response request for snow removal assistance during “Snowmageddon 23’” the last thing we were expecting was an award. We just knew our community needed help and we set out to do whatever we could. It turned into 19 days straight of 24 hr shifts clearing miles of roadways of snow. We could not have done it without our great team of operators, office staff and of course my beautiful wife and great daughters to keep me going. Huge thanks to the many operators we have that did multiple shifts, back to back shifts and whatever it took to get the job done, wether clearing roads, helipads for food drops by the national guard or leading first responders to emergency locations our guys stepped up and made it happen, walking over 19 miles in the snow from my house to the bottom of the hill to get the first piece of equipment up the hill wasn’t easy, but when the time gets tough, we at AB get tougher and I couldn’t be more proud of our team. Big thanks to Chad Nichols, Patrick Bond, Jimmy Garcia, Jesse Tegge, Joe Rubulcava, Randy Rosenbaum and the rest of our team involved in the response…..very honored.

Advantage Backhoes was invited to take part in the Kimbark Elementary Career Day and boy was it a hit ! Kids love tractors 🚜. We showed them how the machines work, how to handle the controls, how we maintain and service the equipment and the wide range of areas what the machines are used for. We had a line all day and the kids seemed to love it (the horn was the star of the show). It’s always a pleasure to be involved in our local communities and to help spread the word on the trade industry demand. 🚜🇺🇸👍🏻

AB has partnered with one of our preferred electrical contractors to perform the civil scope, including clear and grub, over ex and recompqct, import engineered fill to balance site, grading w/ certified pad, drainage and all SWPPP implementations on the new RCC Moreno Valley College Campus Ground Mount PV Solar Arrays project. One of several new awards with RCC Regents and our client. 🇺🇸🔝🏆

Excited to kick off yet another new high profile project, the new Valley Emergency Communications Center, for the County of San Bernardino. AB will be performing all of the underground electrical including new SCE services from the street tie in. Breaking ground with one of our John Deere 310 backhoes. Great project with great clients, beating schedules and exceeding expectations…. it’s what we do.

Starting off smooth with our kick off of the structural footing excavation at UCSD Triton Student Center for one of our preferred clients McCarthy Builders. AB will be performing all footing excavation and spoil elevation for the concrete coverage. Excited to partner with another great team on another great project.

The newest additions to the AB fleet… (2) new 60 G John Deere excavators and (2) new John Deere skid steers CTL’s. A 317 and 325 model. With our biggest backlog to date in 17 years we are gearing up and getting ready to provide our clients with new top tier equipment at all levels. All registered with the California Air Resource Board as tier 4 models. Continuing to upgrade and build the fleet year after year…. 🇺🇸🏆🔝

Got the green light to start another new project….
AB was awarded all of the underground electrical on the new Triton project at UCSD. We will be performing all of the potholing, new electrical and communication duct banks, new vaults and manholes as well as all spoil relocation for one of our preferred electrical contractors in San Diego.
