The shop has no power, phone, nor internet.
But we are OPEN.
If you are trying to call for service, we cannot hear your calls. You must drive to our shop and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We are still able to perform 90% of our usual locksmith duties from the shop, regardless of these pitfalls.

Welp...
Andy lost his van today, and our building sustained some masonry damage.
We were still able to help customers who were able to make it to the shop, though! And our techs were busy helping folks get into their houses because of power outages.

The phone/Internet outage continues, but we have phones back online. We can also run credit cards, but cash is always preferred.

So the crew at the Mansion was returning a lift we had borrowed and we had forgotten to take the key out of the starter and lost it somewhere on I-74. So I went to see Andy Streenz at Bill’s Key and Lock Shop on Clinton St. Andy worked some locksmith magic on the internet and did 30 seconds of key cutting and handed me a key! Now they’ve always been our go to for all of our OLD stuff, but they kill it on the new stuff, too! Thanks, Andy!!

If you've ever been to our shop to have a lock rekeyed, you'll see us dump used tumblers into a coffee can. We have three rekeying stations. This is about two years' worth of tumblers and other lock debris.
All of this was recycled today at Alter Metals in Bloomington.
