We’re proud to be part of the team helping bring 2116 Nicollet to life! 🏗️

This new affordable housing community in Uptown will provide more than 50 new homes and represents an important investment in the Minneapolis community.

At Frida Drywall Systems LLC, we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute our work to projects that go beyond construction — projects that create homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and make a lasting impact.

Congratulations to Watson-Forsberg, Alliance Housing Inc., Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, and everyone involved in making this project possible.

We look forward to seeing 2116 Nicollet take shape and are proud to be part of the journey from groundbreaking to completion.

Frida Team!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated the grand opening of Snelling Yards!

This project adds 95 affordable homes to the Hiawatha neighborhood of Minneapolis and is adjacent to The Hillock, affordable senior housing we completed in 2023. These two buildings form an intergenerational housing campus, with Snelling Yards offering large family units to meet the needs of this growing community.

We're so grateful to have worked on this project and we hope the new residents enjoy their new homes for years to come. Congratulations to all of our partners!

We’re proud to look back on the completion and grand opening of MPHA’s newest family housing in the Windom neighborhood of South Minneapolis!

On July 28, we gathered to celebrate the completion of a new levy-funded triplex at 56th and Blaisdell Avenue South, alongside a newly completed duplex at 45th and Portland. Together, these projects create five new deeply affordable homes for families—safe, modern and energy-efficient, helping keep operating costs affordable for the families who call them home.

Flannery Construction was proud to partner with the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA) to bring these projects from concept to completion. We’re grateful for the collaboration of DJR Architecture and the many trade partners, consultants and project partners whose expertise and commitment made these homes possible.

Both projects were completed ahead of schedule and on budget, incorporating all-electric systems, rooftop solar and highly insulated building envelopes.

Projects like these are a great reminder of what’s possible when a committed team comes together around a shared goal. Congratulations to MPHA, the entire project team and, most importantly, the families who will soon call these homes their own.

En Frida Drywall Systems nos sentimos orgullosos de nuestras raíces mexicanas y de llevar con nosotros esos valores todos los días: trabajar duro, salir adelante, apoyar a nuestras familias y contribuir a las comunidades donde vivimos y trabajamos.

We also recognize the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary bravery and compassion.

We're thrilled to share that we just began construction on Citywalk Apartments, which will provide 252 market-rate apartments and 90 short-term rental units near the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. We're looking forward to sharing more construction updates on this one!

We recently closed on a new housing project in Rochester. The Commons at Bear Creek will provide 149 new affordable homes near the Mayo Clinic. We're looking forward to making progress on this one!
