Position Summary
As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, recommending effective solutions, completing high-quality repairs and installations, and providing an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in representing the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing Diagnostics & Service
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and inspections of residential plumbing systems.
Accurately identify the root cause of plumbing issues.
Recommend repair and replacement solutions that best meet the customer's needs.
Explain findings and available options in a clear, honest, and professional manner.
Complete plumbing repairs and installations in accordance with company standards and local plumbing codes.
Ensure all completed work meets the highest quality and safety standards.
Customer Service
Deliver a five-star customer experience on every service call.
Build trust with homeowners through honesty, professionalism, and excellent communication.
Present estimates and service options with a customer-first approach.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while representing the company.
Documentation & Teamwork
Accurately document diagnostics, completed work, and recommendations using FieldPulse.
Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction.
Participate in company meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
Assist other team members as needed to ensure successful completion of daily operations.
Required Qualifications
Illinois Licensed Plumber or Second Period Plumbing Apprentice.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of two (2) years of plumbing experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Skills

Ability to educate customers and present repair options professionally.

Physical Requirements
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Compensation
$20.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
