Let’s be honest. We’re horrible at posting on Facebook and will try to get better at it.

At Canaan Electric we’re driven by God, family and reality. And the reality is that the Lord provides far better than Facebook posts do.

So in saying that, know that we are still busy! We are still ready to serve you! And we would love your business! Also know that an AI software isn’t writing the post right now. It is me, Preston, the owner of Canaan Electric.

We would love your business if you’re needing anything electrical or generator related done! Please enjoy some pictures of a generator install/ panel changeout we just completed and give us a call if we can help you! 📲931-907-5886✝️

This customer called us in an emergency. Half of the power was out in her house and we were able to diagnose that the service had a bad 200 amp main breaker. That’s no problem for us though! 💪

We were able to change out her whole 200 amp disconnect and get power back on promptly! We even got to have fun in the rain while doing it😅

Give us a call if you have any electrical needs! We’d love to help!

Another quality camera install.

This customer wanted to make sure she was safe and monitored 24/7. Now she will be able to monitor all of her house anytime, from anywhere without the safety risk of a cloud based system.

And don’t worry. She is planning on putting a cabinet where the dvr is. So it’ll be nice and clean very shortly!

Give us a call if you’d like to make sure your home is monitored 24/7 with top quality cameras!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there, but especially to my husband, Preston.

If you know Canaan Electric, then you know he’s the man behind it all. The long days, late nights, early mornings, service calls, generator installs, paperwork, phone calls you name it, he does it. Building a business from the ground up isn’t easy, but he pours his heart into it every single day.

I’m so proud of how hard he works for our customers, and especially how hard he works for our family. No matter how busy life gets, he’s always there for our kids and always willing to do whatever needs to be done.

Thank you for everything you do for this business, our family, and the people we serve. We couldn’t do it without you.

Happy Father’s Day, Preston. We love you! ❤️⚡

If you’ve ever thought about getting a generator… now is the time.

For the next couple weeks, Generac is offering a FREE 7-year warranty on their standby generators — something you don’t see often.

That’s 7 years of peace of mind knowing your home and family are protected when the power goes out.

Storms, outages, and grid issues aren’t slowing down anytime soon… but you don’t have to be left in the dark.

At Canaan Electric, we handle everything from start to finish — installation, setup, and making sure your system is ready when you need it most.

Don’t wait until the next outage hits.

Just wrapped up this clean whole-home camera system install.

When we say we handle anything with a wire, we mean it.

A lot of people don’t realize—those internet-based cameras like the ones from Ring that you see in commercials (especially the one during the Super Bowl) can be vulnerable to internet hackers or the provider themselves. Anything relying strictly on the internet can be accessed if someone knows what they’re doing.

That’s why we recommend hardwired systems with a dedicated DVR. Your footage is stored locally, more secure, and still fully accessible right from your phone anytime you need it.

Security isn’t something to cut corners on. Protect your home the right way.

Wouldn’t you rather go with a local, family-owned company anyway?

At Canaan Electric, this isn’t just business—it’s our livelihood, our reputation, and our name on the line every single day. When you call us, you’re not getting a big corporate runaround… you’re getting real people who care about doing the job right.

From generators to everyday electrical work, we’re here to serve our community with honesty, quality, and faith at the center of it all.

Give us a call and let our family take care of yours.

Your local trusted electrician and Generac Dealer.
