Just wrapped up this stunning freeform inground pool for our client here at Blu Sol Pools. The star of the show? The gorgeous Aqua Max “Islands Clouds” liner by Merlin Industries, Inc. — that crisp, clean pattern catches the light perfectly and makes the water look absolutely dreamy.

From the custom freeform shape and beautiful paver decking with limestone coping supplied by Braen Stone to the stone wall and seamless install, every detail was done with care.

This backyard oasis is now summer-ready!

🚧 Pool Project Update: Custom Spa Tile Progress 💙

Continuing right from our last update on this job — the custom spa is coming together nicely. Fiber optic strands are installed and coming through clean in all the right spots, ready for that starlight glow once everything is connected and lit.

The team has been hand-laying these blended blue mosaic glass tiles across the walls, benches, and curved edges. The mix of deep blues, blacks, and lighter shades is already delivering excellent depth and shimmer.

Just a few more details left before we can fill it. Looking forward to seeing this one glowing at night.

🌊🔥 One of our most challenging engineering builds to date — and the result is pure backyard bliss.

This custom hybrid pool blends Gunite and vinyl construction with a premium TruTile porcelain tile system for the perfect mix of durability, beauty, and low maintenance.

A custom fire cave anchors the space, complete with Warming Trends orifices.

The stunning Quartzsite patio was supplied by Braen Stone

Three signature waterfalls bring the drama: two cascade directly back into the swimming pool while the third diverts to a hidden underground water vault — a clever “fake-out” that lets the client enjoy thriving, chemical-free plants right beside the water.

All equipment is by Pentair Pool with brilliant nighttime ambiance from Pentair MicroBrite lights.

This is likely the only liner-pool waterfall you’ll see online where the boulders grow seamlessly out of the liner area instead of sitting on the track (precision work with the vinyl liner from Latham).

In our last update, we were deep in the details — carefully placing those premium coping stones and building the support structure along every graceful curve of this freeform pool.

Fast forward to right now — the coping is fully installed, including the stunning built in water features, and the beautiful decking is now complete.

At Blu Sol Pools, we don’t just build swimming pools. We sculpt liquid dreams into stone and light.

This one was special.

Not because of the freeform shape or the integrated spa (though both are pure poetry), but because we went all-in on something rare: massive 2¼-inch slabs of Tennessee Crab Orchard and Tennessee Gray. Hand-selected, precisely placed, and left raw enough to tell their story.

Years ago, as a wide-eyed kid bouncing around in an ‘87 Astro van with nothing but a pool brush, a net, and reckless ambition, I studied the work of one legendary builder whose pools stopped me cold. The way his stone glowed beneath the water — steps and raised spas alive with color and texture — stayed with me like a blueprint for the soul.

So we paid our quiet respect.

We brought that same underwater magic to life here in the steps and the spa walls…

Then we made it our own.

A sun deck filled with dancing bubblers. Stairs to nowhere. A quiet invitation to simply be.

Thousands of hours.

Dust thick enough to pressure-wash the neighbors’ house twice.

And one result that feels timeless the moment the water settles.

This isn’t just a pool. It’s a love letter to the craft, to the stone, and to every late night we spent chasing perfection.
