Another catch basin repair completed in Blanchester, OH! 💪

This block catch basin had completely failed, causing the surrounding concrete to settle and crack. Not only was it unsightly, but it also created a hazard for both vehicles and foot traffic.

Our team demolished the damaged concrete, rebuilt the basin, and poured a new concrete pad around the structure—bringing the area back to a safe, functional condition.

A LITTLE CHANGE OF PACE FOR THE KSB CREW! 👊

This week, our team supplied a curb machine operator and provided finish help for a commercial curb pour in Fairfield, Ohio.

We teamed up with TH Solutions to install nearly 900 linear feet of slip-formed ODOT Type 6 Barrier Curb, utilizing their Power Curber 5700D.

A big thank-you to TH Solutions for giving us the opportunity to jump in and help get the job done! 🤝

Another great outdoor transformation completed alongside our friends at Express Pole Buildings!

For this project, Express Pole Buildings removed the existing composite deck and prepared the subgrade. Our team then completed the layout and formwork, and we teamed up to place and finish this beautiful new patio and sidewalk.

Out with the old, in with the new! 🔨✨

These steps were long overdue for an upgrade. Over time, the wood had begun to split, screws had become a safety hazard, and the metal railing was pulling away from the structure. Not only did the steps look worn, but they were no longer providing the security and stability a homeowner should expect.

Our team completely rebuilt the steps with safety, durability, and appearance in mind. Since the original steps were attached directly to the brick, we redesigned the layout by adding an additional step and securely anchoring the ledger board to the concrete slab above for maximum strength and stability.

To top it off, we upgraded the entire deck surface to beautiful, low-maintenance Trex decking and finished the stair stringers with matching Trex trim for a clean, polished look that will last for years to come.

Another complete transformation is in the books!

This project started with a full demolition. We removed the old wood steps, tore out all of the concrete beneath the carport, and demolished the existing front walkway, porch, and steps.

From there, we began rebuilding from the ground up. We formed, reinforced, and poured brand-new concrete steps beneath the carport, along with a new front porch and entry steps. Next came the carport slab. The original concrete was cracked, uneven, and didn’t have the proper slope, allowing water to collect instead of draining away from the house. We corrected the elevation to create proper drainage and poured a beautiful new slab that will perform just as well as it looks.

To complete the transformation, we poured a new front walkway and added an extended apron that ties the front entry and carport together with one clean, seamless transition.

Once the concrete had properly cured, we installed new handrails on both sets of steps. Since the new carport slab sits higher than the original, we also finished the project by restoring the surrounding grade with fresh shredded topsoil and grass seed.

At the end of the day, we’re more than just a concrete company—we’re a full-service concrete and outdoor contractor. We don’t show up, pour concrete, and leave you with a mess to figure out. We handle every aspect of the project from demolition to final cleanup, delivering a finished product you can enjoy from day one.

Steps went in on Tuesday, today we poured the carport and sidewalk! Now to just connect the two with a nice apron to transition to the blacktop. Final results for this transformation are coming soon!

Talk about a transformation! 🤯 You’re going to want to swipe through every photo on this one!

This backyard got a complete makeover. We started by removing an old shed, two sections of worn-out fencing, and the jungle that had completely taken over the back corner of the property. 🌳

From there, we installed a beautiful Kentucky 3-board fence to match the existing fence on the opposite side of the yard, then finished the rear property line with a decorative privacy fence that completely changed the look and feel of the space.

One of our favorite features of this style of privacy fence is that both homeowners get the finished side. You and your neighbor each get the same clean, attractive look, making it a win for everyone!
