If you’re boating today, keep it safe out there:

Watch for other boats (they pop up faster than lake gossip)

Don’t boat drunk — the lake is not the place for “hold my beer” energy

Mind your wake zones! Marina workers with a gas pump in their hands don’t need to be wake‑slapped

Take your trash with you! We want another chill lake clean up day with the Lake Nottely Improvement Association

And remember: wind + holiday traffic = surprise chaos

Look at what we have been up to!

Started the year with a small dock in Appling and it snowballed from there — repairs, a 70' walkway to a shore pier, new builds, an Endeck redeck, boat lifts, dock boxes, and kayak racks. And we’re not done yet.

A highlight this year was expanding an over‑decade‑old commercial marina — adding new EZ Dock slips alongside an aluminum ML Docks addition. Our manufacturing team drew up the plans and materials in-house for us to build, making the whole expansion smooth and efficient.

One of our crew families welcomed their first daughter at the end of May, and we even squeezed in a family trip to Augusta to tour the college — wild that we’re already at this stage of life. While we were there, we found the Savannah River flood lines, which were pretty wild to see in person.

Keep an eye out for us on the water in your area — you never know what we’re building next.

Sometimes life piles everything on at once — office repairs, medical recovery, and even one of our crew welcoming a baby who arrived early and spent time in the NICU. Our team has felt all of it these past few weeks.

But we’re still here.
Still working.
Still committed.

Our office is temporarily closed for repairs, and I’m working from home while I heal. Our scheduling and correspondence are running behind, but every customer matters to us, and no one has been overlooked. We’re working through each call and message with care, just like we always have.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your support during this stretch. Hard seasons don’t stop us — they remind us why we’re grateful for this community and why we love the work we do.

Through all of the anticipation, and even a couple of weeks early, we are overjoyed to announce one of our beloved crew members has welcomed his first child into the world today!!! Happy Birthday Little One, we can't wait to meet you!

Mama and baby are doing well, while I'm sure Daddy can't stop smiling. We are so happy for your family and wish you all the best newborn baby blessings 🎂🎁🎈🎉💕🧸🤱🏼✨

Four straight days of rain and the lake is finally creeping up — but we’re still sitting about 6.5 feet below full pool.
That slow rise can sneak up on docks, especially when cables haven’t been touched in months.

If you’re around the lake this week, take a minute to check your setup:

Make sure your dock cables are adjusted for the changing water level

Look for tension, slack, or uneven pull

Keep an eye on walkways and anchor points as the shoreline softens from all this rain

A little attention now saves a lot of headache later.
Stay safe out there, and keep those docks happy as the water comes up.

Not every dock needs replacing — sometimes it just needs the right materials and a little craftsmanship.
For this one, we replaced the aging floats, tightened up the structure, and finished it with Endeck PVC decking for a clean, durable, cool‑to‑touch surface built for long lake seasons.
A solid transformation that keeps this dock going strong for years to come.
