Earlier this year, RT Masonry wrapped up work on Big Grove Brewery's newest location in Omaha, and the final result turned out incredible!
This marks Big Grove's first location outside of Iowa. When deciding where to expand, Omaha stood out thanks to a strong local beer market and a unique real estate opportunity at the Catalyst Building on the UNMC campus.
Originally a steel mill, the Catalyst Building has been completely transformed into a 170,000 SF mixed-use space, which was a perfect fit for Big Grove, whose story has always been centered around revitalizing spaces and neighborhoods. Being a part of that transformation made this project especially meaningful.
Inside, the distressed brick veneer helps tie the space back to the building's industrial roots, while supporting the warm, handcrafted atmosphere Big Grove is known for. Outside, the inlaid brick pattern adds detail that complements the scale and character of the building.
Now open, the Omaha taproom offers beer brewed on site, a full craft food menu, and an environment that delivers a true "wow" moment the second you walk in. Not to mention you can also stop next door and get some coffee and baked goods from Big Grove Coffee Co. If you haven't been yet, it's absolutely worth the visit!
