This was a non steep roof that the crew just threw the shingles straight into the dump trailer.

The thing is, do you see how many nails this grabs on the ground?

8:43 AM Update

The super heroes are doing super hero things.

Roof torn off, siding removed and step flashing being taken off.

Step flashing is one of the most vital, if not most vital, components of a roofing system.

Don’t allow your roofer to skip this stuff if it’s in bad shape.

This house has 3.5”x2” step flashing.

Code requires a 4”x4” step flashing.

Two layers of felt?!

If you see a roofer putting felt over the top do felt, don’t use them.

They don’t care about you one bit.

There’s a 0% chance they would do that to their own home.

The sheathing is a vital component to your roofing system.

Rotten decking= no surface to nail into.
