One home. Multiple HVAC systems. One seriously dialed-in setup. 🔧
We just wrapped up a major project in time for the BMHBA Fall Parade of Homes, and what makes this build stand out is how several different HVAC technologies were designed to work together.
Instead of relying on one system to condition every part of the house the same way, we matched the equipment to the individual spaces and how they’ll actually be used.
🔥 RADIANT FLOOR HEAT
A Navien boiler system supplies in-floor heat throughout the garage and slab-on-grade den area—putting the heat right where you want it during a North Dakota winter.
🔧 DEDICATED BONUS ROOM HEAT
We paired a water coil with a Payne air handler to provide heat specifically to the bonus room above the garage, giving that space its own solution instead of treating it like the rest of the house.
❄️ ZONED HEATING + COOLING
A Payne furnace and A/C handles the main living areas with separate upstairs and downstairs zones, providing better temperature control throughout the home.
💧 WHOLE-HOME HUMIDITY CONTROL
An Aprilaire whole-home humidifier helps maintain comfortable humidity levels through our dry winter months.
💨 FRESH AIR EXCHANGE
A Broan air exchanger brings fresh outdoor air into the home while helping maintain indoor comfort and air quality.
That’s the part of a new build you may not see when you walk through it—but you’ll absolutely feel it. Heating, cooling, humidity, ventilation and zoning were all considered as part of the overall design of this home.
