This was a little outside our normal lane, but sometimes you don’t have a choice.

This project was done after hours for a friend. I do paint cabinets regularly, but in this case the cabinets were beyond saving.
Doors were falling apart.
Drawers had no bottoms.
Slides didn’t work.

At that point, painting alone would’ve been a band-aid — so we rebuilt everything.

• All new shaker-style doors
• New drawer boxes, drawer faces, and slides
• Everything hand-built in my shop
• Finished with a two-color cabinet paint scheme (island + perimeter)

This isn’t something we typically advertise, but the end result turned out solid, and it got me thinking…
