⚡️Empowering the Next Generation of Skilled Trades!⚡️

This past Saturday, the BEJATC was proud to help 16 Scouts from the Black Warrior Council earn their Electricity Merit Badges during “Skilled Trades Day” hosted by Will Marible at UA Local 372 TJAC.

Throughout the day, the Scouts learned the fundamentals of electricity, built working circuits, and gained hands-on experience with the tools and skills used every day in the electrical trade. It was exciting to watch these young men and ladies ask questions, work through challenges, and see their projects come to life.

Events like this are a great reminder that introducing young people to the skilled trades helps build confidence, curiosity, and opportunities for the future.

A big thank you to Will Marible, UA Local 372 TJAC, and everyone involved in making this a successful and educational day for the Scouts!

⚡️ The future of the trades is bright. ⚡️

The BEJATC is both saddened and excited to announce that today is Jessica‘s last day with us. While we will greatly miss her, we are thrilled for the new opportunities ahead as she begins her journey with UAB hospital in Pell city. This position will help her pursue her nursing degree and we couldn’t be happier for her.

For the past five years, Jessica has been an invaluable part of our team working tirelessly behind the scenes to support our apprentices, our instructors and the apprenticeship committee. Her dedication and hard work have made a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful .

Please join us in thanking Jessica for everything she has done for the BEJATC and in wishing her and her children all the best in this exciting new chapter of their lives!
