"When should we call an architect?"
Probably earlier than you think.
You don't need a finished plan, a perfectly defined scope or every decision already made before starting the conversation. In fact, some of the most valuable conversations happen earlier—when your team is still asking questions like:
Do we renovate or build new?
How much space do we actually need?
Is this building worth adapting?
What's realistic for our budget?
How long could this really take?
An early conversation isn't about having all the answers. It's about asking better questions before major decisions are made. If a facility project is somewhere on your organization's horizon—even if it still feels a few years away—that's a good time to start the conversation.
