This lighting project at Callaway Gardens, GA to install energy efficient LED technology built to last is a reflection of that commitment. By delivering a solution that improves performance, reduces maintenance needs, and supports the long-term goals of the park, we helped to create lasting value well beyond the initial installation.

What a busy and fulfilling week it has been for EGS!

Our week started in Richmond, VA at Convergence, hosted by Dominion Energy, where we exhibited at the Supplier Expo and got to connect with many incredible fellow attendees. We also got to hear from amazing speakers who shared valuable insights and knowledge for our industry.

EGS was proud to serve as a sponsor for the Mary Ann Manley Golf Tournament! Between friendly competition on the course and meaningful conversations throughout the day, it was an event our team was so glad to be a part of.

This week also provided opportunities for our leadership team to share their expertise with others across the industry. Senior Marketing Manager Carlie Hale Tanner participated as a panelist at NATE’s Women’s Leadership Summit in Indianapolis, Indiana where she shared her insights on navigating a multigenerational workplace.

To end our week, CEO Glenda Santrina Thomas spoke as a panelist at the Birmingham Business Journal’s Women’s Summit where she discussed how women leaders work to drive innovation, grow the talent of the next generation, and use their influence to shape the future of business and community.

From Richmond to Indianapolis to Birmingham, this week was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and share. We're grateful for the experiences, conversations, and relationships built along the way, and we're proud to have represented EGS at each stop.

Last week EGS had the incredible opportunity to attend the first Georgia Power Powering Partnerships Summit!

Our team had the opportunity to hear from Georgia Power senior leadership and management about future partnership opportunities while also connecting with fellow vendors and industry professionals throughout the event.

A highlight of our trip to Georgia was CEO Glenda Santrina Thomas taking the time to visit our lighting crews in Tallulah Gorge and spend time with the team working in the field.

We truly appreciate getting to be part of such a meaningful event and the important conversations that took place. Thank you, Georgia Power, for creating a space that highlights the importance of industry collaboration!

This National Construction Appreciation Week, we are proud to recognize our dedicated crews, foremen, operators, and project teams whose hard work helps to build, strengthen, and maintain the infrastructure that our communities depend on daily. Their constant commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship is reflected in each and every project they complete.
Whether they're modernizing lighting systems, supporting utility infrastructure, or delivering solutions that help power progress, our team takes pride in getting the job done right.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was forever changed. Now, we pause to remember the lives that were lost, honor the heroes who courageously answered the call, and reflect on the resilience that carried our nation forward.

As we remember, we continue to stand united in prayer for our country and the fearless men and women who defend it with bravery and strength. May we never forget the sacrifices made that day and the enduring spirit of unity, courage, and hope that continues to define our country.
