This bookcase was created for a family that specifically requested a wood native to Africa. We selected Sapele, an African mahogany harder than anything I've worked with before...

This project challenged me in ways I never expected. The wood is stubborn. It doesn't mold easily, but we got it done! The customers were very satisfied with their custom designs, compliments to our friend Anitra Hill over at .

The curves at the top and bottom were done using a wood bending technique for 3/4 thick sapele... 🥴🤯. A challenge to say the least. This one sits amongst one of my greatest accomplishments as a wood worker and someone entrusted with transforming your homes.

Oh how the times change! This bathroom was as old fashioned as it gets. 😅 This customer was Thoroughly DONE with the pink and we were able to give her something that she will Love for a long time! "Wow" was the customer's review, 😄! ❤️ My personal favorite is this Curupay Butcher block we installed to help draw some warmth back into this space!
