At W**d Man Billings, we believe that charity starts at home in your own backyard. Beginning on September 7, please join us in our fall food drive, Grassroots Giving, to support Tumblew**d of Billings.

It’s easy to give.

• The day before your next lawn care application during the Grassroots Giving initiative, you will receive a text or email reminder about your next service.
• During our visit, simply leave any food items for donation outside your front door (preferably in a box or bag).
• Your W**d Man technician will collect all items while they are there to complete your service.

What We’re Doing Wednesday

Hello September! We are in full aeration mode, along with our fall applications. Believe it or not, fall aeration, fall w**d control, and fall fertilizer are some of the most important applications because they prepare your lawn for a better, greener, and healthier spring!

The nights are definitely cooler, and the days are still hot, which is the perfect equation for lawn disease. So, you’ll want to make sure that you aren’t watering at night. With cooler days in the future, you’ll also want to monitor and adjust your watering accordingly. If you start to see mushrooms, that may be a sign that your lawn is getting too much moisture.

We’re just as busy as we were in the spring, just with different applications. We are looking for some extra help to wrap up the season. So, if you like working outside, staying active, and having some control over your day, this could be a good fit!

We're excited to kick off our annual food drive next week to support Tumblew**d of Billings, a local non-profit helping homeless, trafficked, and at-risk youth. Last year, we collected 6,340 pounds of food! Help us pass that number for 2026!

🗓️ When: September 7th to November 20th

How to Give:
▪️ Drop-off: Bring your donations to our office at 2170 Shackelford Ln, Billings, MT 59101.
▪️ Pick-up: If you're scheduled for service, leave your donations in a box or bag outside your front door on your service day.

What to Donate:
Tumblew**d is requesting shelf-stable pantry items. Please drop off any frozen or refrigerated items directly at our office, as our technicians can't transport them.
Participation is completely voluntary and all donations will go directly to Tumblew**d!
