Had the pleasure to update a little bit of a sprinkler system that is almost 100 years old. This system back then was top of the line. Has two zones one for front yard and one for the back yard. Each zone had a 1.5" globe valve controlling flow. Out in the "field" zones were all copper and reduced to .5" This sprinkler is most likely from the 1930's, National Muellermist company. The cool thing about this sprinkler is it still works, but will be retired!

Fun little project today, switched out one mp nozzle to r-van nozzle and 4 6" 1800 with Hunter mp nozzles to 12" 1800 with rainbird r-van nozzles. Now the client was very happy that they do not have to hand water the area.

With all of the rain we received the other week the grass grew like crazy. A friend mowed three times and unfortunately still left grass streaks which can leave dead grass underneath and make it more susceptible to turf diseases. Appreciative of the opportunity to properly clean it up. Blew out all the dead moisture filled grass with the echo backpack blower and sucked it up with the Walker Mowers.

This was an interesting valve box. The main line was installed right under zone lines, and got a little funky with the poly pipe! :)
