Last month, our leadership team attended our first ISA International Annual Conference in Detroit, MI.
The presenters spoke on many subjects from soil deficiencies to crisis management and ethics.
One thing that stood out was the level of scientific studies that are being conducted in our industry. The science behind what we do is fascinating and we were excited to be a part of our first International conference this year!

If you’re noticing your trees making a seemingly early shift to fall coloration, it is likely a response to drought and heat stress! The intense heat and lack of moisture are making for some very noticeable changes in leaf appearance this year. The reddish pigment (carotenoids) are actually pushing through in an effort to defend the green pigment (chlorophyll) from sun damage!

We recommend keeping your trees watered, even going into winter if weather allows. This is your best chance at easing the stress caused by our current local environmental conditions.
