Last week, Taylor Kasperick represented Performance Engineering at the Zweig Group / SNZweig Elevate AEC Conference in Park City, Utah, where he proudly accepted our 2026 Best Firms to Work For and Hot Firm awards!

These awards reflect the dedication of our entire team and the commitment we bring to our clients, each other and our community every day.

Beyond the recognition, the conference was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and explore how firms across the country are navigating emerging technologies, workforce changes and industry trends. Performance Engineering worked with the Lockwood Irrigation District on improvements to its irrigation system, including upgrades to the existing pump station infrastructure. The project included replacing large-diameter steel pipe and two pumps to help strengthen a system relied on by irrigable properties throughout the district.

As Co-Founder and Principal, Craig Dalton has been part of Performance Engineering from the beginning- 13 years and counting. Originally from Helena, Craig earned his Civil Engineering degree from Montana State University.

We could all use a feel-good story this week. 💙🏈

Ben Steele Middle School eighth grader Lewis Krivonen got the chance to do something he’d been looking forward to for a long time: suit up with his classmates and score his first touchdown.

We loved seeing the way his teammates rallied around him to make the moment happen. Performance Engineering’s Robbie Neihart had a proud connection to the play, too. His son is one of Lewis’ teammates and had a blast helping him find the end zone.

It’s a great reminder of what teamwork, inclusion and community can look like — and why sometimes a touchdown is about a whole lot more than football.

Way to go, Lewis, and kudos to everyone who helped make this such a special moment! 👏
