With framing nearly complete, the Beavercreek Residence is moving into its next phase.

Windows have arrived on site as the team begins closing in the home. Attic trusses maximize usable living space, while panelized walls allow much of the framing to arrive pre-built for a faster, more efficient installation.

This approach allowed the entire first level to be framed in approximately one week, helping streamline the schedule and make the most of Big Sky’s shorter building season.

This summer, the Blue Ribbon Builders team joined a local Big Sky summer camp for a day of building, learning, and connecting with our community.

Together, we built birdhouses while walking the kids through the different stages of building a home, from the first steps to the finished product. Russell also taught the campers about mountain bluebirds and how they can photograph the birds they see and submit their observations to Cornell University to help support ongoing bird research.

It was a rewarding opportunity to share a little of what we do, inspire curiosity, and spend time with the younger generation right here in Big Sky!
