What a proper check includes:

• Door balance test (manual)

• Track and roller inspection

• Cable and hardware check

Door won’t close all the way?

One of the most common causes is the safety sensors (photo eyes) near the bottom of the track.
Dust, snow, or a small misalignment can stop the door from closing.

Safe DIY steps:

1)Wipe both sensor lenses with a soft cloth

2)Make sure nothing is blocking the line between them

3)Check they are facing each other and not bumped

If the opener light is blinking and the door won’t close, send a quick photo of your sensors and I’ll tell you what I see.

Before and after a late-night rescue from ACH Services!

When a torsion spring breaks, your garage door's entire weight falls on you. Our customer was trapped inside their home, unable to lift the extremely heavy door.

To fix the problem and prevent future issues, we replaced both the broken torsion spring and the other spring to restore balance and safety. Now the door is working perfectly, and the customer can get on with their day (or night!).
