Connolly Brothers recently completed a new, ground-up 127,120 square-foot self-storage facility for a development team at 362 Turnpike Street in Canton, Massachusetts.

Located approximately 12 miles south of Boston on the Route 128 corridor, the four-story, institutional-quality facility is professionally managed by CubeSmart Self Storage.

The building was constructed with light-gauge steel framed bearing walls and concrete-on-metal deck flooring. The thermal envelope consists of masonry with rigid insulation, masonry veneer, exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS), insulated metal panels (IMPs), storefront glazing and a membrane roof over a metal deck. The project scope also involved demolishing an existing restaurant to make way for redevelopment of the 2.73-acre site.

On September 18th, Connolly Brothers was honored to join the Gregg House for the groundbreaking ceremony of its new early learning center project in Lynn, MA. Once complete, this 40,000 SF ground-up facility will expand access to early education and care for over 300 children, ranging in age from one month to six years.

Elected officials, state and local leaders, including Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson, were in attendance to celebrate this major milestone alongside Gregg House leadership. Scalora Consulting Group, Studio G Architects, Meninno Construction, other project partners, board members, donors, and current Gregg House families all came out to express their support and excitement for construction to get underway.

Connolly Brothers is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this journey with the Gregg House, and we look forward to the lasting difference it will make for families and children in the community.

Connolly Brothers recently completed a full renovation and addition for The Lodge at Endicott College in Beverly, MA — one of the college's on-campus dining venues offering students a casual, retail-style dining and lounge experience.

The 3,947-square-foot renovation included the demolition of the existing kitchen, dining, and lounge areas to make way for a new, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, serving line, and two restrooms. Upgrades were also made to the dining, lounge and mezzanine areas along with installation of a new HVAC system.

A 507 SF addition was constructed to accommodate additional storage space, walk-in freezer, walk-in cooler, a dedicated dish room and prep space for staff.

This was a true summer slammer — 3,947 SF of renovated space plus a 507 SF addition, completed on a compressed schedule to have The Lodge ready for students before the start of the 2026 fall semester.

On July 24, Connolly Brothers proudly joined the Boys & Girls Club of Lynn in celebrating the topping-off ceremony for the "Building to the Future" Phase II expansion — a major milestone marking the completion of the structural framework for this 37,500 SF addition. BGCL leadership and board members, city officials, project partners, donors, and some of the club’s young members, came together to watch the raising of the final structural beam, continuing a longstanding construction tradition.

The Connolly team is grateful to be a part of this incredible project that will serve the local community for generations to come.
