It’s the season for maintenance. First order of business is relocating all those dang safety screens to the scrap iron pile! Then put some fresh dinosaur bones in the crankcase and tap a little dust out of the air filter. We’ll be ready when you want some help with tree work or stump grinding.

We helped a homeowner take down a couple ash trees today. One had a split in the trunk and the other was starting to rot. Both were leaning towards the garage. Due to obstacles and access we climbed them both.

Cut down two cottonwood trees that had reached (or exceeded) their expiration date. Both were completely rotten in the core yet were full of green leaves. Be cautious of those towering giants. They can be deceptively green on the outside and rotten on the inside.

For those of you that use ratchet straps you are well aware of the fact that when a strap gets cut there’s a 92.6% chance it’s within 11” of the hook.
Instead of getting angry and vowing to never lend anything to your brother-in-law again. Just stop by at Marmon Custom Leather LLC and tell Mike to fix it. He does great work at a reasonable price.

Started another backyard cottonwood removal job. Two trees with a fair amount of rigging. Very few branches can be simply cut and dropped.

Also stopped at The Coffee Haus for a delicious sandwich, cookie and refreshing smoothie. I highly recommend you stop by.
