Are you wanting a green, thick, spring-ready lawn? It doesn't start in April. It starts right now.
Fall is the best time of year to set your yard up for next season, and our fall trio of core aeration, compost, and overseeding is how we do it.
Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil out of your lawn to break up compaction from a summer of mowing, kids, pets, and cookouts. That opens the ground up so air, water, and nutrients can actually reach the roots instead of running off the top.
Compost goes down right after, filling those holes and feeding your soil with organic matter. Healthier soil holds moisture better, builds stronger roots, and gives your grass something real to grow in, not just something to sit on top of.
Overseeding finishes it off. With all those fresh openings and a layer of rich compost, new seed gets great soil contact and fills in thin spots, bare patches, and tired areas. The result is a thicker lawn that crowds out weeds on its own.
Fall is the sweet spot because the soil is still warm, the air is cool, and weeds aren't fighting for space. Do it now, and next spring your yard wakes up looking great.
