On October 19, the D.C. hospitality community will come together for an evening of incredible food and a great cause. This year's event, themed "United Plates of America," will feature special dining experiences at six locations across the city: CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Marcus DC, Moon Rabbit, Perry's, Silver Lyan, and Centrolina, where we'll be celebrating!

Benefiting the Human Rights Campaign, Chefs for Equality brings together talented chefs, restaurants, and community supporters to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and equality.

We're officially old enough to raise a glass! 🥂 Today, Potomac Construction celebrates 21 years of building incredible spaces, lasting relationships, and an amazing team.

To mark the occasion, we came together to celebrate 21 years of success, recognize the incredible accomplishments of our team members, and look ahead to a bright future. The day was filled with exciting company updates, valuable training sessions, and, of course, a toast to 21 years!

Mental health is an important conversation in every industry, but especially in construction, where the challenges often go unspoken. Fewer than 5% of construction workers report seeing a mental health professional, highlighting the need to break down barriers and encourage open conversations.

Revisiting Bar Betsie, a standout bar in DC's Union Market District.

From a dramatic neon red curtain and red velvet-covered swooping booths to a theatrical marquee and mirrored accents, Bar Betsie was designed with plenty of personality.

And it looks like the space has earned some celebrity approval — singer and style icon Charli XCX stopped by the bar after her DC concert last week! We love seeing a space we helped bring to life continue to make its mark in DC.

Throwing it back to Rose’s Luxury, which is celebrating 13 years in DC!

Potomac Construction had the pleasure of working with Aaron Silverman to bring his first brick-and-mortar restaurant to life in a historic two-story building on Capitol Hill. The project transformed the space to include the restaurant’s kitchens and dining areas, custom bar millwork, and the second-floor rooftop garden and private dining space.

It’s been incredible to watch Rose’s Luxury grow into such a celebrated part of DC’s dining scene over the past 13 years. Happy anniversary to the entire Rose’s Luxury team!

Potomac Construction is proud to support the C&O Canal Trust and its work to preserve and protect the C&O Canal National Historical Park.

This year’s annual fundraising event celebrated America’s 250th anniversary and the unique role the C&O Canal played in our country’s early history. The 2026 Spotlight Fund focused on the historic Great Falls Tavern, an iconic landmark that has served as an anchor for recreation along the canal for nearly two centuries.

The evening featured music by the Seneca Creek Bluegrass Band, a dinner and silent auction, a ranger-guided hike to Olmsted Island, s’mores around the campfire, and a fireside chat exploring the Tavern's history and life along the canal.

Thank you to the C&O Canal Trust, the C&O Canal National Historical Park team, the National Park Service, and everyone who made this special evening possible and continues to preserve the history and natural beauty of this treasured national park!
