Company owner Michael Abert, a Duke University graduate, is a native of the Washington D.C. He's been in the business of making landscapes more beautiful since 1978. In 1986, he formed Landscape Projects, Inc., which today has grown into an award-winning company with over fifty employees. LPI has separate maintenance and design/installation divisions, serving client properties in northern Virginia

, northwest Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, Maryland. From the outset, the company's mission has always been to create and enhance exceptional residential gardens, providing their owners with outstanding service and expertise.
