Bill Harkness began a small tree removal service out of the back of "The Golden Chariot" a beat up old pickup truck well over 20 years ago. His business quickly grew, and after a couple of years he was able to purchase a small dump truck and hire some help. His son, Seth Harkness, completed his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies at Green Mountain College in Vermont. Seth now works full tim

e alongside his father and the business has grown to include several full time employees and an impressive client list. Although "The Golden Chariot" has long since retired, it has been replaced with two international dump trucks, a tree skidder, two wood splitters, a stump grinder, a tractor, and a trailer.
